Chiropractic Care
Since late last October, a heap of yard work, a lat pull down strain, and then a slip and fall in February, I had terrible shoulder pain and neck pain that had me running from massage therapist to chiropractor after chiropractor. Relief was hard to come by and in a state of desperation, I decided to keep looking. I passed by Greater Health and came home and googled it. They were right up the road from me and a huge draw for me was the holistic approach as well as the seminars, the products, and the extra wellness services. I was doubly impressed when I saw the beautiful office! So relaxing and appealing to the eyes. Nothing, however, impressed me more than the first few adjustments with both Dr. Pete and Dr. Mary. My situation has all but resolved. I continue with adjustments but am not rabidly needing to go in for severe pain relief..now it's just fine tuning:) For the first time, my husband is not having to massage my burning shoulder and blades and neck! Dr. Pete guaranteed me to be pain-free by the time I left my first visit. I was a little mistrustful because my former adjustments had not really done much for me. Yet, he WAS right! I walked out that day feeling like I was floating on a cloud of relief. If nothing else has worked, I highly recommend these experts. This place will without a doubt be your last stop and you'll be just as impressed. They take chiropractic to a whole new level. Nothing brings on a testimonial like this more than being in acute and hopeless misery for over half a year and then, after one visit, feeling truly healed. I would highly recommend Milostan Chiropractic. In May of 2009 I experienced severe back and leg pain which prevented me form leading a "normal" life. I went to the hospital emergency room because I could not walk or sit in an up-right position. The doctors at the hospital gave me muscle relaxers and pain killers and sent me home and told me to ice my back and rest. The diagnosis was a bulging disc. A couple of days later my husband called MIlostan/Greater Health and made an appointment to see Dr. Peter. I had never been to a chiropractor before and was very skeptical...but I was in so much pain that I was willing to try anything.
I walked into Milostan Chiropractic using a walker. Dr. Peter and Dr. Mary were terrific. They knew exactly where my pain originated from and helped me get back on my feet. I loved the leaving the office after each visit. I could actually almost sit upright in the car on the way home. Within 10 days I ditched the walker and was able to return to work. I continued to see both Dr. Mary and Dr. Peter over the next few months. Eventually, I did have to have surgery on my disc later that summer, but the care I received from the doctors was outstanding. they were knowledgeable about my problem and offered many solutions that helped to reduce my pain and make decisions regarding the care of my back. I have also attended Dr. Mary's Female Hormone seminar and completed the saliva test I have just started taking the supplements that have been suggested. LT

Last year I went for my annual mammogram and they found several large cysts. I have been on Iodoral since that mammogram and this year my mammogram was perfect! I couldn't be happier!

Intra-Max has changed our lives. I'm a busy mom of two small children and I've always had a poor immune system. I spent years taking anti-biotics & later allergy medication. I had been on thyroid medicine for 17 years. After coming to Milostan/Greater Health and consulting with both Drs. Peter and Mary regarding my thyroid and hormonal conditions, I have now been off Synthroid since last February. I have energy without taking a single synthetic hormone. I have been taking hormone balancing supplements from Dr. Mary and even though I am nearing the end of menopause, I sleep great, do not have night sweats and hot flashes are almost non-existent. In addition, I have been amazed at the knowledge they have with regard to the connection between the pain in my arms and wrists being directly connected to my neck and have helped me through several painful spells with what I thought was tendinitis.
